    I know we all love playing on our little Improbable Island, just as I know some of us donate unused CPU cycles to the World Grid Community and/or do some other charitable work.

    However allow me to ask you to consider playing a game to stimulate and show off your intelligence at the same time! Even better: just by playing this game, you get to contribute to a worthy cause: fighting the hunger in the world and donate food to a few of those 25000 people who starve every day!

    How?
    Simple: the Friends of the UN World Food Program have a game called Free Rice (<--- link). They have a few simple yet challenging games such as an English Vocabulary or Grammar Challenge, 2 simple math games, one great famous paintings and some other challenges. For each correct answer in any category you win 10 grains of rice for the UN WFP. It's not too difficult to win 1000 grains or more in less than half an hour.

    So please, if you got some spare time, play for food!

    Oh, yeah, FreeRice is fun stuff. My co-workers like it, too.

    Getting up to the top level on the vocabulary games is really challenging!

    And you get to feed the hungry! The banner ads on the site are the source of that money. They're not really annoying ads, either: in fact, much less annoying than on lots of other sites. Go check it out!

    Now there's something that can also be called a worthwhile addiction... Among the other details, the english vocabulary allows you to listen to the word. Very helpful if you are learning the language.
